What's With Huh? | |||
|
Maybe it's the way she drops her R's They find irresistible. [Ed Note: Pronounced Ahhhhhs.] A need to rescue the sounds like a handkerchief in flight. Or maybe it's the way she pauses Before exhaling. A need to fill the void. Sure makes 'em wish they were that cigarette. She does not appreciate the longing she invites, the frenzy she incites. [This is the part where she turns introspective.] I was never young enough To enjoy youth, she says, But maybe I'm old enough now. This much I know: dip me in chocolate And I'd still not approach her craving. |
